All advance sales are via the Loeb Drama Center box office. Telephone lines are open for sales Tuesday-Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. or until one half-hour before evening performances; closed Mondays. Tickets purchased in advance are held for pick-up unless the customer requests that they be mailed and sends a stamped, self-addressed envelope to A.R.T. Box Office, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA 02138. Please note that all sales are final.

This ticket information is for American Repertory Theater performances and presentations only, and does not apply to performances produced or presented by other organizations using the same venues. The Loeb Drama Center box office also handles telephone and walk-up ticket sales for the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club's Loeb Ex and Loeb mainstage productions. Call 617.547.8300 for details. (HRDC mainstage tickets are also available through the Harvard Box Office.)

50 for $15 at Noon

50@$15 is a discount program for last minute, day-of-show tickets to mainstage shows. Up to 50 $15 tickets will be available in person only at the A.R.T. box office at the Loeb Drama Center beginning at noon on the day of performance. Subject to availability.

Passes

A.R.T. passes work like "punch cards" - you purchase a certain number of admissions for a set fee, and can use them all yourself or use them to bring a group of friends! You may only purchase one pass at a time, but once it is exhausted you can buy another! PLEASE NOTE: Passes are not tickets and do not guarantee admission to any specific performance. With all passes, we recommend you reserve your tickets ahead of time by calling the Box Office at 617.547.8300, as many of our performances are sold out. You must present the physical pass in person when you pick up your tickets. Pass redemptions are subject to ticket availability.

A.R.T. Flex Pass: Good for admissions to any show! 5 admissions for $175 or 8 admissions for $240
Adventure Pass: SOLD OUT
Harvard Pass: Available to Harvard faculty and staff. Must have a valid Harvard ID. 5 admissions for $150 or 8 admissions for $200
Student Pass: The A.R.T. Student Pass is the best deal in town for full-time students. 5 admissions for just $60! Available for Harvard students, MIT students, and other college students. Must have a valid student ID from the appropriate institution.

Student Rush

A full-time college, university, or high school student with a valid student ID can purchase a Student Rush ticket for $15 on the day of the performance, subject to availability. These are available by phone at 617.547.8300 or in person at the box office only. Limit one ticket per performance per ID.

Student Advance

A full-time college, university, or high school student with a valid student ID can purchase a student ticket in advance for $25, subject to availability. These are available by phone at 617.547.8300 or in person at the box office only. Limit one ticket per performance per ID.

Pay What You Can

The American Repertory Theater's Pay What You Can program will sell up to fifty tickets, based on availability, for the Paradise Lost show on Saturday 3/6/2010 at 2PM and Johnny Baseball show on 5/15/2010 at 2PM held at the Loeb Drama Center to members of the community for any price they can afford to pay. These are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis at the Box Office starting at 12 p.m. on the Wednesday before the performance. The A.R.T. box office is located at 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA 02138. The Pay What You Can program only applies to the performances which fall under the main season category of A.R.T.'s yearly schedule. The minimum payment is one dollar ($1) per ticket and there is a limit of two tickets per person which is enforced by Box Office staff. A.R.T. Box Office management reserves the right to refuse PWYC tickets to any person who does not comply with the above policies and to make changes to this policy at will to address the needs of the program.

Ticketing Policies

Season Ticket Standby: This is a courtesy we extend to season ticket holders who did not, or could not, exchange their subscription seats 24 hours in advance of their show time. Season Ticket Standbys are free to bring their unused tickets to any other performance of the same play and, as long as there are available seats, they will be admitted into the performance. We seat subscriber standbys moments before showtime, at the house manager’s discretion, in the order they arrived. Standbys can reserve their place in line by getting their tickets numbered at the reception desk as early as two hours before showtime. Please note: it is the patron’s responsibility to see each of their scheduled performances (either at their scheduled time or via standby) and that once a particular play is over there is no possibility to use these tickets for another play.

Snow Standby: On the occasion of an extreme weather situation in which the city of Cambridge declares a snow emergency we may offer non-subscribers the chance to see another performance of the same play. Declaring a show’s audience eligible for Snow Standby is at the sole discretion of A.R.T.’s management. Snow Standbys must bring their unused tickets to any other performance of the same play and, as long as there are available seats, they will be admitted into the performance. We begin seating Snow Standbys moments before showtime, at the house manager’s discretion, in the order they arrived after all Subscriber Standbys are seated. Snow Standbys can reserve their place in line by getting their tickets numbered at the reception desk as early as two hours before showtime. Please note: if a snow standby cannot see another scheduled performance of the same play they will not be allowed to use them for another play.

Sleep No More extension: During the Sleep No More extension (Jan 14 - Feb 7) we cannot accommodate any exchanges or standby tickets from pre-extension Sleep No More performance dates.
