James Sobol

James Sobol (Pettersen in The Wild Duck) is a second-year student at the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University, where his roles have included Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Escalus in Measure for Measure, Alex Klein in Overboard, and Geoffrey in Six Degrees of Separation. Last summer, he reprised the role of Puck in Steven Maler's Commonwealth Shakespeare Company production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Copley Square, and took on the role of Banquo in Macbeth at the Harvard-Radcliffe Summer Theatre. Mr. Sobol played Romeo in Romeo and Juliet for the Hampshire Shakespeare Company, and has toured with the National Shakespeare Company as Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors and as Roderigo in Othello. Television credits include a featured role on NBC's Cosby Mysteries.
