Greta Sanchez Ramirez

Greta Sanchez Ramirez (The Winter's Tale) last appeared on the mainstage in the role of Grushenka I in The Idiots Karamazov. She is a second-year student at the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University, where she played the title role of Sarita; Mytil in The Bluebird in Moscow; the Doorkeeper in Phoebe's Got Three Sisters (in Cambridge and Moscow); and in an adaptation of The Seagull, directed by Yuri Yeremin (in Cambridge and Moscow). Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Ms. Ramirez has also performed in the San Francisco Bay area, appearing at the Magic Theatre and other venues. She also performed her own work Living in Spanish—a bilingual dance theater piece—throughout the Bay Area, Cuba, and Korea. She has worked and collaborated with Cherrie Moraga, Migdalia Cruz, Nilo Cruz, and Rhodesa Jones.
