International: Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610 (set, lighting) at the Handel & Haydn Society, Boston; The Orphan of Zhao (set, lighting) at the Lincoln Center Festival, New York; The Night Banquet (set, lighting) at the Festival d'Automne in Paris, the Perth Art Festival, and the Lincoln Center Festival; The Peony Pavilion (properties and lighting designer) at the Lincoln Center Festival; Dido and Aeneas (sets) at the Spoleto Festival USA; Richard III (set, lighting, costume designer) for the National Theater of China production, presented in Berlin and at the Spoleto Festival USA; Chequer Man (set, lighting, costumes) at the New National Theatre, Tokyo; Three in the Afternoon (adaptor, director, designer) at the London Theatre Art Festival; The Bacchae (lighting) presented by the China National Beijing Opera Company and New York Greek Company in Beijing and Hong Kong; Red Fish (sets) at the Theatre Garage, Tokyo; ∫ Fileo (set & lighting) at the Brussels Art Festival. He is Head of Lighting at the Peking People's Art Theatre, and Director of the Stage Designer's Association of China.
