Acting Shakespeare for young performers, age 12 – 16!

Come down to the A.R.T. on Saturday, January 21st, for a special one-day intensive on acting Shakespearean text. We’ll reveal some of the mysteries of the immortal Bard’s work, such as his use of rhythm to generate meaning (and his penchant for dirty jokes).

The class will perform selections from Shakespeare’s comedy As You Like It. Every student will also receive a collection of handpicked Shakespeare monologues for further study, or for use in auditioning.
