Oedipus (Ensemble). Specialist in baroque music and contemporary and experimental works, performs across North America and Europe, with ensembles such as the Handel & Haydn Society, Boston Camerata, Boston Bach Ensemble, and the Neovoxer Ensemble. Most recent: Nixon in China (Madame Mao, Opera Boston). She codirects TALISMAN, a group devoted to the rediscovery and performance of early Russian music, and was soloist on their first release on Dorian. Also directed La Bohème (2001), Carmen (2002), and Eugene Onegin (2003) with the Lowell House Opera at Harvard University. Currently pursuing a DMA in historical performance at Boston University and directs the Voice Institute, which constructs sound performances and hosts voice workshops which draw on bel canto techniques and various body-centered disciplines: Roy Hart, Fitzmaurice Voicework, and Alexander Technique, among others.
