Casting Notice: ROBBY in Johnny Baseball

CASTING NOTICE

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) is currently seeking a 9-12 year old boy to play the role of Robby, a “wide eyed” baseball expert and rabid Boston Red Sox fan, in its production of Johnny Baseball.

Johnny Baseball is the new musical about the Boston Red Sox making its world premiere at the A.R.T. this spring. It is an exhilarating blend of fact, fiction, and the mystical power of the game.

We are seeking a gregarious child with a genuine (almost fanatical) love of baseball. No previous acting experience is required but the child cast in this role needs to be enthusiastic, personable, intelligent, funny and empathetic. We are interested in kids of all ethnicities.
