Elbert Joseph appears in his first American Repertory Theater role as Yefim in Uncle Vanya. Other theater credits: Title role in The Trumpet of the Swan and other roles (Wheelock Family Theatre), Duke of Venice/Revealer in The Merchant of Venice, Second Senator in Coriolanus (Project Shakespeare of Lyric Stage). Television credits: Caitlin's Rainbow, Guiding Light, Rap Around, and others. He is on the board of directors of the Show of Hands Theatre Company (a new deaf theater company in Boston).
