Cheryl Kenan

Cheryl Kenan is a graduate of the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University, where she was last seen on the Loeb stage as Penny Price in The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and as Lynette in The Naked Eye. Recently, she appeared as Claire in Proof at San Diego Rep (Best Featured Performance, San Diego Critics Circle). Other roles include Maggie in Cat On a Hot Tin Roof at the Studio Arena Theater, and she was featured in the New York workshop of Paul Rudnick's The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told in the role of Cheryl. While at the A.R.T. Institute she appeared as Mary Garga in Robert Woodruff's workshop of In the Jungle of Cities, as Hermione in The Winter's Tale, and as Lady Macbeth in David Gammons' production of Macbeth. Her first-year roles include Pat in Derek Walcott's Viva Detroit! and Cecil Cuchon in Tina Landau's The Great Attractor. Ms. Kenan is also a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she performed such roles as Madame Arkadina in The Seagull; Masha in The Three Sisters; and the title roles in Woyzeck and Miss Julie, directed by Travis Preston.
