CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training presents The Skin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder, directed by Scott Zigler, and performed by the Institute Class of 2010. The production is presented at OBERON, 2 Arrow Street, corner of Massachusetts Ave., Harvard Square, Cambridge.
Performances are on March 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, and 27 at 7 p.m. Doors and bar will open at 6:30 pm
New Jersey, 1942 -- Garden State, or Garden of Eden? Join George and Maggie Antrobus, happily married 5,000 years, as they survive Ice Ages, Great Floods, and Apocalypses by the skin of their teeth. Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer prize-winning philosophical comedy reminds us that, in spite of ecological or economic disaster, humankind will always build again.
Director Scott Zigler is the Associate Director of the A.R.T./MXAT Institute for Advanced Theatre Training. His credits at the A.R.T. include Romance, Sexual Perversity in Chicago, Copenhagen, Absolution, Animals and Plants, The Cripple of Inishmaan, the world premiere of David Mamet's The Old Neighborhood, and he was the Assistant Director of Mamet’s The Cryptogram at the A.R.T. and directed The Old Neighborhood on Broadway, the national tour of Mamet’s Oleanna, as well as the theatrical trailer for the film version of that play.
