My wife and I viewed, if that is the right word, "Sleep No More." I cosider myself quite observant and fairly creative. I do not get the story line at all. I could create a story-M showed up a lot. Music from de Morney's "Rebecca", notes from MacBeth. Interrogation room, a hospital room from Cider House Rules and what's with the hair? My son, is a sculptor, and most of the rooms looked like his house-a collection of old stuff displayed with some effect. It was clearly unique, but I saw 5 actors doing stuff as we went through and it didn't connect. I guess I was asleep.
I saw the performance on Tues night. it was electric, spooky and riveting. I loved the rooms filled with stuff , overwhelming of the senses, forcing you to grasp clues to put the puzzle together. I want to go back again to experience more. well done punchdrunk and a.r.t.
Interesting concept and execution but we never saw, for example, Lady Macbeth and missed a lot of what must have gone on. Sorry but we can't travel to this installation numerous times to catch the action. Scenes we did see, particularly the dancing off into the fog were memorable. Just too vague and unguided, even though I had read the comments of others and knew to 'follow' any actor who might appear. As for 'participating' in the action, it was more a matter of getting into the room and trying to see what was happening without getting in the sightline of others.
i liked the idea but the only frustrating thing for me was the number of actors--i did not find more than 5 actors in the whole building. i was expecting to see actors engaged in dialogue in almost every corner but there weren't many and there wasn't a single dialogue at all.
unbelievable experience, i still have flashbacks of the scenes. I did not know where i was getting into... I think i missed many scenes... but, definetely i'm going again

I was there too. Did see more and still need to go back. Think much more can get developed.
Thanks to the actors and the director, was amazing!

I wish I had the words to describe this experience but I don't. I have not been this excited about theater in 40 years. Thank you so much!
