From the savage world of Sicilia to the comic country life of Bohemia, this bold, slimmed-down production takes audiences on an exhilarating journey through one of Shakespeare's last plays.
Staged by David R. Gammons, who has directed and designed some of Boston's most celebrated recent Shakespeare productions, The Winter's Tale features the graduate acting students in the A.R.T. Institute for Advanced Theater Training's class of 2010. This dynamic young ensemble brings Shakespeare's fantastical blend of tragedy, comedy, and romance to life.

Disappointed
We were disappointed with our box office experience last night; we thought we had reserved two comp tickets, per an email offer, and arrived to find that they had been sold and we no longer had a reservation. We - among many others in the same situation - couldn't see the show. We were not aware that this might happen, and would have bought ahead of time if we'd known the risk. Please be clearer in the future and don't make it seem as though we have reservations when it's really a "rush" situation!
It's really hard to tell what
It's really hard to tell what the venue is for this -- it just doesn't say it anywhere. No theater name, no location.... nothing!
lousy web site
I was just here trying to find the venue information, and there's nothing. Ticket offers don't work, ticket purchasing is opaque and complicated, and tickets available on-line are much worse than the ones at the box office.
Too much hassle drives audiences away. I've bought tickets to about 10 local theaters recently, and this site is the only one that is unusable.
when is a ticket not a ticket?
the stagesource offer for tickets came after 12 pm today, when the deadline for such had expired. this seems like not a good procedure.
oops!
Anonymous-
When we are able to send out ticket offers we do try to provide lead time, but can't control when (or if) other organizations pass them on. This was just an example of that.
