Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

June 22, 1999 - June 27, 1999
"A glorious cacophony of voices . . . as hilarious as it is painfully honest."
— Patti Hartigan, Boston Globe

This cacophonous blend of characters, voices, and meditations comes direct from the mind of Eric Bogosian, one of the country's most versatile writer/actors.

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee is the current product of Bogosian's over-heated mind and soul. In it he blends characters, angry rants, and a stream of consciousness meditation on making it to the top of the ladder, on falling off the ladder, and on the exhilarating thrill of the ultimate crash and burn.

One of this country's most versatile writer/actors, Bogosian is the author of the plays Talk Radio, subUrbia, and Griller. He has appeared in over a dozen feature films, most notably as the misanthropic "shock-jock" Barry Champlain in Oliver Stone's film of Talk Radio.
