Initiatives

Below are some of the Ambassador initiatives that currently available.

A.R.T. BUZZ-MAKERS: Do you love going to the theater, parties, meeting new people and building fun relationships? We want energetic, charismatic individuals to get people excited to come to the theater and experience the A.R.T. while also deepening the engagement of our audiences. Their job as "Buzz-Makers" is to represent the theater at select performances, special events and other social engagements all around Boston and Cambridge. Requirements: Buzz-makers should be savvy with A.R.T. programming and be able to help with 3-6 designated special events and A.R.T. performances per month.

A.R.T. GUERILLA MARKETING: : Posters, stickers, flyers, postcards: You know you want them! We need your help in increasing the A.R.T.'s visual presence in Boston and Cambridge. We are looking for creative people who can help us spread the word on upcoming shows and increase our visibility at events, stores, outings, you name it! Requirements: Must have access to car or public transportation.

THE DONKEY SHOW DISCO GANG: Love the Nightlife? Love to Boogie? Come work for THE DONKEY SHOW where the disco fever never stops! A.R.T.'s long running production of THE DONKEY SHOW needs a team of energetic, organized, party lovers to help with the production's many abroad appearances. Specifically, we are looking for those with an interest in helping with the marketing, management, maintenance, and merry-making at performances and promotional appearances. Requirements: The Disco Gang will attend and become deeply familiar with the production. They also should have flexible hours to be able to attend and assist promotional appearances around Boston. An ability to get around town and an outgoing love for disco a plus!

A.R.T. INSTIGATORS: The Instigators initiate spontaneous outbursts of theatrical joy on behalf of the A.R.T. Missions throughout the year have included an 80-person game of musical chairs, a 15-minute Bubble Extravaganza, and human sculpture creations around Harvard University. Requirements: To be an Instigator you should possess ingenuity, an adventurous spirit, and a willingness to participate in extraordinary artistic happenings.
